Psychotherapy for elite athletes, drivers and high-stakes performers
Together, we’ll silence the self-critic sitting in your cockpit
making room for the world champion ready to drive with absolute precision.
// Lead like you mean it
First and foremost… I’m Dani
My mission is simple - to bring genuine, person-centred psychological support
to the people that are only often seen for their driver standings.
I’m the kind of therapist who cares about what you’re experiencing on and off the track – not just how we can optimise your mind to shave off an extra tenth of a second (though that often happens too).
My commitment to human-focused care runs deep
Competing at the absolute limit of your sport over and over, pushing your mind and body,
facing relentless media scrutiny and carrying the weight of an entire team, is nothing short of incredible.
But I also know the hidden cost:
the crushing pressure to perform immaculately, the fear of letting people down, and the isolation of being away from family.
It leaves you head-in-hands, trying to keep cool for the cameras, while privately ruminating on what more you could have done to find that missing pace.
I’m no regular therapist
I’m not here to offer you mental training or performance "hacks".
Your team already tells you what you need to optimise - your physical training, your recovery, your nutrition.
But what about the emotional load that dictates your split-second decisions?
This is where I come in.
Instead, I focus on the real engine running the show – the human underneath the race suit. Because when you care for the whole person, performance optimises itself.
You’ve probably been told you just need to be “tougher”, “more resilient” or to “push harder” but doing more isn’t the answer.
The real “hack” is controlling the anxiety before a race, knowing your innate value and realising that you are worth of appreciation regardless of where you cross the finish line.
I’m here to help you move past a difficult qualifying session and still step onto the grid ready to race with total self-trust.
I know this is about destroying the social conditioning which has made you believe that you need to be the ‘quiet’, ‘polite’, ‘good girl’ and transform you into the powerhouse LEADER that shines so brightly you create a wave of inspiration in those around you.
Or make the haters put on their f*cking sunglasses- but you don’t care about them anyway.
I’m here to hold you, clap for you, empower you and wipe away a tear when I think how proud I am of you.
My story ended a little differently than yours - and that’s exactly why I’m here.
After years of competing at a high level in gymnastics, I faced a pivotal decision: commit my life to chasing an Olympic performance or walk away and reclaim my happiness.
I chose to walk. Little did I know that choosing myself over the sport back then was the first step in a lifelong journey of choosing myself.
While mastering my floor routine and winning gold on the weekends was thrilling, it wasn’t who I was meant to be.
I went from pushing through injuries
missing out on life and feeling trapped by external expectations
to finding internal peace.
Finding parts of me that I was trying to prove by winning medals.
I wasn’t put on this earth to stand at the top of the podium – I’m here to hold space for the human who does.
Today, as a Person-Centred Psychotherapist,
I help athletes and high-performers discover who they are separate to their accolades – so they can experience genuine fulfillment both on and off track.
You deserve to stand proud at the top of the podium
savouring every moment of the warm champagne running down your neck,
quietly knowing you are every bit deserving of the win.
By rewriting the internal rules that say you are only worthy when you win and by silencing the voice that screams louder than your brake pedal, you’ll find lasting peace through every wine and every setback.
